The Layout

A young man is cheated in a very small-time drug transaction on the street. He asks a few cronies of a major druglord for a small quantity of marijuana and he goes home to discover that it is merely a long, green tube sock, wrapped in plenty of plastic bags.

Meanwhile, two half-idiots in suits attempt to make a rather large-scale transaction with very powerful men. However, one of them has a dire fear of animals, and to his dismay, the druglords have a menagerie in their house. As he perspires on the couch, the druglord rolls off into a long-winded monologue about his love for animals, naming them all lovingly and pointing them out to the men. He then excuses himself along with a few of his menacing crew, to gather the requested amount of drugs in another room. In the meantime, one of the druglord’s cats walks across the phobic man’s lap, whereupon he hurls it against the wall, killing it. Stunned, they hide it and wait for the drugs to emerge. The druglord is anything but hurried in his delivery of the products, engaging the men once more in an exposition of his knowledge of and love for animals. At some point he mentions his beloved cat (now dead), calling her name with some concern and saying that she usually always answers when he calls. The men share their concern and quietly decide to leave as soon as they get the drugs, and they do. They know that there are cameras in the house, and that they have very little time to run as far away as they can, as fast as possible. Along the way, they toss the drugs into a river, for fear that they are equipped with a tracking device.

Shortly after they speed away, the druglord and his gang discover the cat . They go back to watch the security video, see what has happened, and guns are brandished.
Meanwhile, the young man from the weed cheat is shown pacing his room, sweating, feeling taken advantage of. Anger broils deep in his eyes.

Back to the marked men. They are shown in the following scenes frantically preparing for a quick exodus. Throwing things off the shelves, ransacking their own houses, calling family and friends.

Finally, with their arms full of belongings, they run out of their house to find the druglord and all of his gang arrayed in front with guns trained. The druglord delivers a monologue to instill fear and hatred in the men before they are mown down with AKs. Just then, when death seems imminent, the young man from the first scene comes in, running at full speed. He is wearing a tight t-shirt, umbro shorts and a giant, green sock that stops near his thigh. He is full of anger, and bent on revenge. Using primarily his socked leg, he proceeds to waste every gangster in sight.

At the end of the fight, he looks down, adjusts his sock, and walks on down the road. The two men, still holding their things, turn around and walk back into the house.

(and this could be the end, or...)

However, in the fight it is revealed that one of the gangsters is wearing red footie pants under his clothing, and they are destroyed so that only a thigh-length red sock remains (and underwear). scorned, he rises again to the final showdown: Green Sock vs. Red Sock.

Here's my proposal:

Leviticus Jones - Markus, you are the druglord. Absolute power. Maybe we need to inclue a scene of you callously annihilating someone for a small offense.

Manny the Milkman - Funk, this is you. You are a badass gangster who dresses like a milkman, but get real pissed when you ask him about milk. are you still lifting weights, because it would be good for this role.

Tommy the Gooch - Justin, you are the epitome of an Italian gangster, somehow mixed in with this odd bunch of thugs. full of style, speaking with few words, classy.

Drug dude #1 - Jared. the straight man. you pretend to be the 'in control' one.

Drug dude #2 - BG. the chiller, more innocent of the pair. you're mostly just there to help a brother out.

Johnny - Green Sock, (of course)

As for pre and post production, i would need this from all of you.

Markus - editing. designwork. digital collaboration with johnny's 2D material.

Johnny - storyboards. we can go into detail more about each scene later.

Funk - could we use your house as a set? that, and i need you to assemble a milkman costume, if
your down.

Justin - I need you to take enough days off work for this to happen (my guess is 4)

BG - bring those fuckin beats son! (and i'll thrown some down too)

and i think we could either trade off directing scenes or elect one of us for the job.
